Persodia.org is a personal, non-commercial intellectual initiative dedicated to reflection on the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) industry, as defined in the book Inside the Clinical Diagnostics Industry:
Industrial actors that design, manufacture, supply, and support products and services used to generate, process, analyze, or present biological diagnostic information for medical or health-related use. The definition is functional but aligned with regulatory framing and includes activities subject to medical device regulation, such as evidence generation, lifecycle control, and post-market obligations.
Persodia.org focuses on the industrial, structural, regulatory, and systemic dimensions of this industry.
It does not provide clinical guidance, laboratory operational instruction, or medical advice except insofar as necessary to understand the industrial structure of the IVD industry.
It is not:
- A company
- A foundation
- A consulting platform
- An advocacy body
- A policy instrument
- A revenue-generating project
